Maxime Durand began his career as account manager and strategist in various agencies where he worked for international clients such as Nespresso, Nestlé, Piaget, Mont Blanc, Nissan, Easy Jet, etc. His daily work included communication campaigns, events, film production and copywriting.  

After leaving the agency world to enter production, Maxime joined a small Swiss company first as key account manager and producer. He became associate partner and remained there for five years managing the company, clients and the creative side of projects. Step by step over many long nights, he taught himself film direction, editing, post production, VFX, CGI and color grading. In early 2018, he decided to move on my to expand his skills as a director, VFX supervisor and CGI animator. 

In short, you could say that Maxime is a film director with marketing skills, which help him to understand clients’ needs and propose ideas in line with their positioning and budget.
